Pittsburgh Hires Veterans (PHV) believes that every veteran deserves access to meaningful employment with fair wages and long-term career stability. In the past year alone, PHV provided services and referrals to more than 370 veterans, successfully placing 142 veterans and 7 military spouses into sustainable employment opportunities. With the support of community partners and sponsors, these numbers will continue to grow in the year ahead.

Support from the annual Veteran Memorial Bicycle Tour directly funds programs and career services that help veterans build meaningful civilian careers. Sponsorships provide businesses with the opportunity to demonstrate leadership in supporting veterans while investing in workforce development throughout the region.

Strategic Mission Partner — $25,000.00

This premier sponsorship directly funds a dedicated PHV Career Coach responsible for managing more than 100 veteran intakes annually. The Strategic Mission Partner plays a vital role in expanding personalized career coaching services, ensuring veterans receive the individualized guidance, training resources and employer connections necessary to successfully transition into sustainable civilian employment.

Veteran Career Bridge Sponsor — $10,000.00

The Veteran Career Bridge Sponsor supports the critical transition pathway for veterans moving from military service into regional apprenticeship programs, technical certifications and workforce training opportunities, helping veterans gain the skills needed to enter competitive industries across the region.

Employment Access Partner — $5,000.00

The Employment Access Partner helps sustain PHV’s regional employer network and job-matching platform. Support at this level strengthens the connection between veteran job seekers and companies seeking skilled talent, ensuring that veterans are matched with meaningful career opportunities that align with their experience and goals.

Market-Ready Veteran Sponsor — $2,500.00

The Market-Ready Veteran Sponsor funds career readiness services that prepare veterans to compete in today’s job market. This sponsorship provides resources for professional resume development, optimized LinkedIn profiles and interview coaching, helping more than 20 veterans position themselves successfully for high-demand careers throughout the region.

Veteran Resource Sponsor — $1,000.00

Be a part of funding the day-to-day expenses vital to non-profit success. PHV does not work from home but serves veterans every day in a central office space with free parking and bus line access. The location is equipped with a computer lab, conference space, and veteran access to all the tools for successful job search. Help support the resources that support the veteran job search process.
